LOL first off im not full of ****

210km/h in 3rd if I ran the bit bigger tires that was supposed to be on my car it would be 220km/h most likely

I am running a 3.45 rear end so top speed is not an issue just the launch sucks a bit

    All this on an rb20det

I will try and get a screen shot and post it of the 210 in third

i think its possible if and only if your confuckulator is turned up to like 190 kg/i and your running a nice (realistic) fatty tire on the rear .. like a 22" rim and a 465/65/22 thats the only way possible.

F*CK this guy knows thats up ! he hit like 220mph in first gear.. coulda been faster just dont have the width in the tires ..or the air pressure .. YA HEAR?!

Ummm....guys, he said he has a 3.45 rear gear, not the 4.36 (iirc) gear that a GTS-t would come with. I can do 200 in third with 4.10s at 8000rpm so 210 in third with 3.45s and 7500 on a RB20 is right on the money.

Doing 240km/h in a Skyline is a cakewalk, any turbo car can do it, stock or otherwise (some quicker than others). Pushing to 300 is where you need as assload of power, the Skyline body isn't the most aerodynamic shape. A general rule of thumb is, to go from 150mph to 200mph requires roughly twice the amount of HP (this is based on the average car having a CD of .35). As a fluke of design (wasn't the goal) the mid to late '80s Firebird has the best body to start your quest for top speed, a GTA body has a CD of a paltry .26. You need 200hp less in a GTA to hit 200mph than, say, a 911 or an F430.

Ok, I'll retract my statement of "he's full of S**t" by the numbers it is possible. But is it even practical.... With a Drag Co of 0.40ish he is pushing some serious power to pull out his gear ratio. Plus in the end, sooner or later at these speeds we'll all end up a red line on the road or a new pole line out through the trees. In my opinion, shear out right acceleration is where it is at, light to light, ******* around dragging from 60 to 200, is way more fun the ripping it open to see if it is your time..... Maybe I'm getting old. Good luck buddy, invest in a cage and good harness.

It is not like i do it every day, I have done this maybe 2-3 times since I have owned the vehicle. (8 months)

Dragon Humper - thanx for the support and realizing not all storys are ps if it aint "your car"

I daily drive the car so 80% of the time it's driven with some respect and good manner,
the other 20% its just way more fun or I head to the road course and do it there.

I hit 180kmh and it wouldnt go faster. Might help to have a working tach and i need to see if my limiter is still in. But before i went turbo I had a 98 civic that hit 220 and i want to go past that.
