  • Canada post bull-****? How can I help my situation?

Ok so I have a huge problem! Not only have a shipped stuff through Canada post for buyers and have bought items that got shipped through Canada post. For one I really need the stuff to get to people. I sent this stuff like 3 weeks ago and people still haven't got it.

Could someone possibly go in and ask for they're parcel back so they could ship with another company? I want to know if this a possibility so that I can get everything going much faster
Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!

Well they weren't on strike three weeks ago so it was shipped and arrived at an office and before they could get to it they went on strike and the package is sitting there now. Plus I don't think anyone is actually working now.

I don't want people to get upset with the service I have provided them with and want them to get they're parts fast. And also if I want to make the car meet I need to get my **** asap! Getting a safety and etest are going to be straight forward but as far as getting my stuff it sounds a little more difficult

Well tell your people that these are situations out of your control. Good communication shouldn't hurt feedback. The strike is almost over so there is plenty of time before the meet.

Ya it's only 2 parts I am waiting on so I just hope that everything gets here soon and also out to the people that have already paid me. I will communicate the problem and let people know.

Does anyone know roughly when this is suppose to be over?

                  Ahahaa update:

My buddy just told me that Canada post will be forced by the government to get they're lazy asses back to work tomorrow... Or atleast the day after. Friday they should be back in full force.

Ok just out of curiosity.... Say you don't get a high school diploma and you have a monkey job that your making 20$ an hour at should that satisfy you? WTF is they're problem? I don't even know if they make that much for full-time but seriously WTF are they complaining about.

Sorry as you can tell I'm just a little frustrated

There's nothing you can do other then wait and like Robski said the situation is out of your control. Incidentally it is Canada Post that is having a lockout so you can say it's the "employer" who is causing this inconvenient to the public. If you don't want to end up in the same situation the next time you hear a possible strike by the postal worker you can use a private delivery service and pay a few $ more.

Just be thankful that the rioters from last week's Stanley Cup game final didn't managed to burn down the downtown post completely.

Let's say you were working at the same job for 30 years, coming up to retire + you're told your pension will be cut about 50%. Would you be pissed? Or are you more of the "race to the bottom" type, who thinks everyone should bend over for the government + just be happy with the pennies the gov feels you "deserve?"

Long story short, Canada Post is cutting pensions, cutting wages for new hires & giving them a tiny wage increase, while demanding they take on more work. Canada Post employees already are at a higher risk of being injured/disabled on the job due to the work they do. I know hating on unions is the cool thing to do, but sometimes you have to look past your bias to see the bigger picture.

Or in other words: Canada Post is trying to rape their employees. Employees are asking for condoms + lube. And Harper gov wants to be the pimp.

Its shitty for everyone, I run a small jewelry business on the side and mail out thousands of pieces every year. Sometimes I have receipts that are 12 feet long. So I have got to know some employees quite well and in this case, I do sympathize.

But like what was previously said, its out of our control. Good communication between the shipper and buyer shouldn't create any hate issues. Shouldn't be much longer anyways.

Not trying to be a **** to you at all. I totally understand your position. Just trying to put out there whats going on. cheers.
