Why is my car a 92 GTST, yet my engine is a 1998 RB20DET lol?

Anyone wanna try and decipher this?

Ok so here's the deal. That number is the displacement, measured in cc. 1998cc's which is 2.0L.

Whats worse, is that the guy who sold me the car told me the Engine was a 1998 RB20DET

On top of that I'm pretty sure Nissan dropped the RB20DET for the RB25 after the R32 in GTS form. Your car is fine!
