Possible new car! Thoughts?

Hey guys, new here and was just wanting to share the car I have been looking at and see what you guys think! Seems super clean and almost everything is stock with super low kms. And its not like the upgrades are anything to do with the engine or anything like that.
Also comes with 2 sets of rims and tires, already got wheels for it so i can sell those for probably 800 bucks if Im lucky.

Looks good, its always nice to see a skyline that has been left almost stock. In my opinion its a very good indicator of a well taken care of car.

Yes I like the clean factor. Makes for a good base to start a build on I offered him 7k without any tires but He wont go any lower then 7800 with both sets included. Still think its a pretty good deal though , maybe for even just down here anyway. Thinkin I can probably get him to 75

The ridge boys should do a cruise? my info says surrey but i moved to ridge about a year ago. My new GTR should be here early august.

FYI it's not a new car. Bit expensive for that age of a base model. Nice and clean looking though.

one thing to be a little concerned about is the shroom filter...or the lack there of...

In my opinion it doesnt seem that over priced. If it is very clean and stock I would be much more inclined to spend abit more then a not so clean one. I do feel that 8000 is abit much no matter how clean it is. Like mentioned before I would offer 7k max and be pretty firm on that. Good luck!

Ive been checkin craigslist every day and that kijiji site too. For price and condition I would have to say its the best deal in this area anyway. GTR for 4900? Holy! Wish I coulda picked that up haha. Been searchin even alberta and such, if I find a good enough deal Im fine with the drive. And yea so down for a cruise, if i can find one lol >.<

The guy also said theres quite a bit of intrest but, We all say that do say that.

Sounded ok.. so went to check it out with my buddy that has lots of body work experience.

So the owner was Uptalking the car liek crazy.. which is fine.. I told him flat out.. i have owned 20+ skylines over the years.. i know these cars..

He's bragging about Original Paint, no accidents. etc etc etc..

So first thing you can see it has been painted for sure.. and a crappy paint job at that.. I point out the overspray on the Hood latch, and the crappy masking on some of the trim.. He lies to my face and tells me that there was a couple scratchs and he did have some body work done..

However closer inspection shows the car was for sure in a front end accident and then repaired here in BC. also you can see that they used bondo to cover some rust holes.. all in all it was terrible.. also it has a replaced custor with 88,000Kms on it..

I ask him where the 59,000Kms came from, and its from his buddy in japan that exported it.. LoL..

also the car has been in Canada for 5 years, i would belive that.. however it doesnt have a BC VIN. any car that was imported and legalized in BC 4+ years ago always had a New VIN assigned cause ICBC didnt accept Short VINs back then.

We pointed out more body work/paint runs/over spray and he still lied and said it didnt have a full paint job, and it was never in any accidents..

Hang my head.. Im keeping Race out of this post but from the second i saw the guy i knew it was going to be a pile of junk.. and well as are most stereotypes.. They are based off facts.. and he lived up to his stereotype perfectly.. so we laughed at him and told him we wouldnt pay more then $3000 for the car.. and then walked away..

Moral of the story.. Dont lie about stuff your selling

Wow haha, alright then. Thanks a lot for posting that! Dah hunter obviously knows his stuff and well i dont. Very glad that came up actually, was almost set on it. I shall continue looking!
