Skymeet 2011 Shout Outs

I'd like to officially thank and point out the efforts of everyone at Skymeet 2011.

First off, HUGE thanks to everyone who attended. The members are what make GTRC what it is. Today was an awesome day, with zero problems, and meeting everyone was amazing. Thanks to everyone for coming out, supporting the community, and helping make GTRC the great club that it is.

Thanks to Michael Kent and all the RightDrive staff for hosting the event. It was a multi-hour chore to get all the inventory moved out of the lot, and everything prepared for the day. Also big thanks to RightDrive for subsidizing the food costs, so that everyone could enjoy a great meal without having to leave the meet.

Thanks to Oakville, cschepp and all the other members who donated their time and efforts into the planning and execution of today's event.

Thanks to all the GTRC sponsors for sponsoring the trophies for the "Best of" contest. Thanks to Pur Auto and AMS for coming out with their amazing cars as well.

Thanks to Sympatico Auto, AutoBlog and AutoMotoFoto for their coverage of the event.

Thanks to all the members who came from far away (Quebec, Ottawa, London etc.) to attend the meet, it was great to meet all you guys!

The only day this year to get held up in the effing states for work... since yesterday.

Im SO PISSED I MISSED THIS.

Looks like it was a great time...lots of nice cars.
At least I'm buying a GTR tomorro.

Well I really enjoyed meeting everyone, talking cars and really seeing the different styles of skylines.

I do have to thank a couple people for all their efforts!!!!:

Hands down I have to thank right drive for hosting this, it seemed to be well organized and everything went smoothly.

Thanks to all the guys that came down from Montreal Quebec area. Ladies and gents this is what you call devotion to a community. What a long drive. I say we cruise down to Montreal to return the favor!

Oakville and snake for coming up with this idea in the first place. Oragnizing all this and motivated everyone to come.

Lastly thanks to everyone showing up!!!! This was awesome for me to see. Not only did I have a great day just talking to people and looking at cars but this also helped motivate me in getting my car done!
