^completely agree. I'm 25 and have a completely clean record and insurance is still nothing special

Sweet. Now I know why my rates just went up 20 bucks a month.... glad to know "we're" paying for it.
Sh*ts like this don't deserve any brakes...yet seem to always get them.
Thanks for the update, I was actually wondering about it the other day.

Work with him
He still has the car, though he has it covered in his driveway with a tarp and claims it's his "parts car"
He told 1/2 of us that he flipped it, then went on the deny this same thing and still does whenever it's brought up.
From what i know he wasn't charged with anything, but his insurance is not pleased.

His new nickname is actually Crashy McSkyline.

It don't matter if a car has 50 or 5000hp, if the driver is a moron (like the sounds of this guy) s**t will happen. Too many young people think the "car" will make them into instant Mario Andretti's or John Forces. AND why do these idiots have to "perform" in crowded towns and cities? It's one thing to wreck yourself but why risk others.

Well the funny thing is what Gtr these days is completely bone stock? Everyone that I have seen and I mean everyone has something done to it as far as performance goes

Maybe a stock GTR to you guys has no power but to a kid whos never driven a car like that a twin turbo all wheel drive Nissan Skyline GTR is very fast.

it was less then 300 out of factory , let alone all the horses that have been lost over time.
I'm so glad someone already said this. It's crazy how so many people think a stock skyline is super powerful. It's certainly not slow but it really is tame and easy to drive (and because of this so very controllable and very fun).
Anyway, the purpose of this post:
How does someone go about buying a car like this? I'm not interested in any at the moment but I've wondered how some people manage to get ahold of insurance cars like this. What do they do? Just call and ask?Last edited by drew6; 08-18-2011, 12:47 PM.

10 counts of douchery. His new nickname gave him 9 on top of the 1 for flipping.

I'm interested in what his insurance is gonna do. Was he charged with anything?

Just so that people know I won't personally be picking up the skyline. It was too much of a hassle and with the less and less space everyday I don't have the space or the time for it
