He still has the car, though he has it covered in his driveway with a tarp and claims it's his "parts car"
He told 1/2 of us that he flipped it, then went on the deny this same thing and still does whenever it's brought up.

From what i know he wasn't charged with anything, but his insurance is not pleased.

It don't matter if a car has 50 or 5000hp, if the driver is a moron (like the sounds of this guy) s**t will happen. Too many young people think the "car" will make them into instant Mario Andretti's or John Forces. AND why do these idiots have to "perform" in crowded towns and cities? Maybe a stock GTR to you guys has no power but to a kid whos never driven a car like that a twin turbo all wheel drive Nissan Skyline GTR is very fast.

I'm so glad someone already said this. It's crazy how so many people think a stock skyline is super powerful. It's certainly not slow but it really is tame and easy to drive (and because of this so very controllable and very fun).

How does someone go about buying a car like this? I'm not interested in any at the moment but I've wondered how some people manage to get ahold of insurance cars like this. What do they do? Just call and ask?

Just so that people know I won't personally be picking up the skyline. It was too much of a hassle and with the less and less space everyday I don't have the space or the time for it
