The biggest difference is that Honda stuff is batch made in China, with a huge market resulting in lower costs. Skyline parts are mainly made in Japan, for a smaller market hence higher costs. Also, consider that in Japan, UK, Aus etc. Skylines have a more elite status, with the average owner being 30 years old or more, and having more disposable income to spend on higher quality parts.
In Canada I'm afraid that the Skyline is in danger of losing it's status as a world-class sports car, thanks to an influx of low cost, junker Skylines being imported to cater to a younger demographic with less disposable income.
It's impossible to compare the cost of Honda parts to Skyline parts, as the two are very very different in terms of cost, construction, quality and market.
