  • HELP car wont start

    (UPDATE FIXED) hey everyone i need help bad i took my car ('90 GTS-T) out lastnight and it ran fine, then the next day (today) i try and start it my lights dim n it just makes a clicking noise. then i thought it would be my battery so i stuck a charger on it for like 2 hours. after it still did it then when i took the charger off natt when completely dead no power to the car. not sure if its my battery or not. plz help

    Seems to be a common issue for a lot of people lately. Sounds like a bad starter.

        sounds like what happen to my r33 before and i rebuilt my starter and everything started up fine!

          Starter, or check your grounds.

            It will take more than a couple hours to charge, leave it overnight if it's a slow charger.
            In the meantime check your grounds.
            When the battery is fully charged try it again. If it doesn't start, get a screwdriver and a hammer and a buddy. Have him sit in the car, put the end of the screwdriver on the starter and hit the screwdriver with the hammer as your buddy is starting the car.

                        check your connections to your starter...and check your grounds, on my gts-t the only ground is going from the body to the batter and from the block to the same place the battery is grounded

                          thanks guys i think we figured it out my battery cables were like cut to the terminals were getting new ones tomorrow n see bcuz we moved the cables from a little bit n then it started fine after so well try it again tomorrow n see.
