this is getting a bit ridiculous. Parked it on the side my dealership today. So far have had about 10 people come by to look at it and take pictures etc. I'm gonna park it where it isn't visible at all. I know one thing for sure, i won't be parking this anywhere public and leaving it!!1987 Lamborghini Countach

I would of thought most people would just ignore a skyline cuz they are over 15 years old and think that they just another ol school look-a-like Mazda MX6
man I don't have mine yet and i am starting to wonder if I have to wait another year or so and get a damn euro Ford Cosworth Escort so I can blend in with the damn crowd especially south of the border in the states

I also agree with Tracer, people come up behind me and flash there lights all the time. In there Hondas, or even SUV's, i dont even bother, i let them zoom ahead and hope they are happy that they beat a skyline.. YaY.. They can go tell there 50 year old friends while playing DnD in there Moms Basments.________________

Everything posted here I've had happen to me in one form or another. The funniest is when the fanboys risk injury to ctch up with you to talk, thats funny. The best experience ever was when I drove it last fall through this sleepy little town and I parked it in front of the general store to take a pic and two old Porsche guys came out and we started chatting. Best guys ever. I became friends with one of them and now he's importing a Ruf CTR (souped up 911) from Germany because he got inspired by me. We're meeting for coffee this weekend so he can show me his car!
Ottawa is lame though, only here do I get idiots in our local forums trashing the GTR like its a skoda

Ok reactions I've recieved so far.... people on the 401 pulling up along side of me and giving me a thumbs up, kids on school buses all getting out of there seats to look at the car when im behind the bus, people doing double takes on the road and highway seeing me on the right side, people in cars pulling up beside me asking me to pull in to a parking lot so they can check out the car, Tim Horton's drive through employee's shocked when all they see is my hand reaching for the coffee, a couple of guys stopping me as I'm pulling out of the drive through asking me about the car, a couple of people (including an OPP Officer) asking if I got this car from England, honda loser drivers trying to race me on the highway, a mustang driver here in Oshawa thinking my car was stupid till I left him 5 or 6 cars behind me and making his di?k seem about a millimeter big and TONS of people at bus stops looking and talking.
I think thats about it but if I think of anything else I'll let ya know. :PRHD DriftinG, DoeS iT GeT AnY BetteR????

Also forgot to mention the crazy lady who ran me off the road. i was in the right lane, she was in the left, as she passed by she looked over and then looked forward. 2 seconds later she looked again very quickly only this time she decided to bring the wheel with her... came about 4 feet into my lane instantly so i had to hit the shoulder in order to not get hit. she knew what she did, corrected and sped off.90 Nissan GTS-t Type M

Better then reaction from average people ... How do the Police Treat you guys across Canada? Every cop that has ever pulled me over for minor things goes to the wrong side as usual ... Then I wave him over and tell him I drive RHD because im concerned for his safety after seeing that drunk driving comercial. They always laugh and are pretty laxed about things. Or when theres a wise ass that says ... "Hey man your driving on the wrong side" ... Then you throw out a witty comment like ... " Sorry champ, actually im driving on the RIGHT side" Haha (Knee Tapper right there.) 8)
Yea, im pretty much done my rant but ... what are your funny Police Stories?1990 Skyline GTR Nismo Spec.

i got WAY WAY WAY more attension in my old satinblack sil40. Shiney Bronze te37's (used to love making the comment to honda boys, "my wheels are worth more than your car"), slammed, loud ass exhuast..I used to work in muskoka and had idiots regularly try to race me on the highway or pulling into a gas station, does this have a sr? do you drift etc...THIS WAS 3 YEARS AGO!
My favorite was i was leaving Gravenhurst on a fridaynight and some old guy in a 911 walks up to me...thinking my car is a 944...lol so funny, he took a seat in it and loved it...then realized it was a nissan.
Pulled into a hwy400 gas station 2 asain guys working the pumps, i asked them to fill it up, i run inside to take a piss, i walk out, pay them, get in the car and i can see them in my mirror staring at the volks....they're real, no they're not...that sort of talk. "they're real and fantastic" and i take off...
It got really annoying...kids at my little brothers school were talking about it like it was there or some buddies, apparently i had a rb26 and it was awd and had like 500hp. It was so funny.
The Cefiro on the other hand...i never get looks, combination of factory tint and working AC. The only times i ever got noticed was when my AC broke and i'd cruise around on the hwy with windows down, or at a coffee place.
i love how un-heatscore the car is.

good cop story:
i pulled the cop over to ask about the WPS cars laptop holder tray after i got some info, he asked me about my car in general and then the good part...
"How fast does that thing go?"
"I don't know sir, the highest speed limit around here is 100km/h, the most I've seen is 105km/h when passing" (in the best innocent voice i could muster)
"********, seriously, it's for my own interest"
"180km/h just shifting into 4th and then the speed limiter kicks in."
"wow, what's the website you got this from again? I'll have to look into it"
awesome cop, he gave me the thumbs up as i pealed away in front of him leaving a 50 foot patch of rubber.
bad cop story:
we're skyline owners here (with the exception of the odd cefiro and very odd honda) there's enough to write a book on this topic alone. I wont bother posting as I have a bad tendancy to be a jerk when they have no reason to pull me over.90 Nissan GTS-t Type M

Down here in the US people don't really seem to notice RHD cars. I've spent some seat time in a RHD civic, toying with people around us by hanging out the left side with a spare steering wheel, or sitting on the left side with a wheel and just start turning the wheel like crazy, people get freaked out. At car shows RHD cars don't get much attention, until a Skyline pulls up, then its just constant stares, and an audience watching it back up.
