In what sense does it make the wrx feel like a child's toy ? With all the mods you have done to the Rex and the basically stock condition of the supra the Subaru should have been able to embarrass the supra in every aspect. 1/4 mile, 0-60,breaking,and especially cornering and handling. Car and driver tested you wrx stock at a 13.1 quarter vs the results of a stock supra at 13.7 and you had a decent set of bolt on modifications to your car. I have heavily modified R32 GTR and a mildly modified 96 wrx and the wrx rips for basically being stock,almost more enjoyable to drive then R32 when it was close to stock

He's probably talking about the torque and turbo setup feel.

Car and driver is fail. No way in hell would a stock jdm wrx run a 13.1 quarter mile. Mine would have probably only ran a 13.4 at best out here at SIR. And it was a LOT quicker than a stock jdm gc8. Link? Because stock jdm gc8's are very, very slow.

The RZ is just a hair slower than the gc8. Yeah, 0-60 it would fall behind, but it more than makes up for it top end. A friend of mine in a 2011 sti with a cobb stage 2 + protune would just slightly pull on my gc8 by half a car length. Now with the rz he also pulls on me, but only by a car length. Once I go BPU it's going to be game over.

The overall feel of the toyota is just better, it's more solid, and just feels a lot better to drive in general than the gc8.

The gc8 was on stock brakes and suspension.. so it wasn't anything great handling or braking wise either. This supra on tein coilovers feels a lot more planted. Brake feel is much better too.

And not to mention, the off boost torque of an inline 6 is also much more enjoyable daily driving.

Needs some more clean up, but other than that it's looking 20x better than when I picked her up.

Nice car. Bigger, more aggressive wheels and a decent drop would really set it apart.

Yeah. Not a fan of the wheels on it. For now I might do some spacers.. Then eventually some 18x10's with some 295's or so in the rear
