sand blasting coil cover & dupli color paint temp range?

    just curious, are you talking about a rb25 coil cover? which is plastic, and by the sounds of this thread it seems everyone else is talking about rb26 coil covers (judging by the pics above). doesnt seem like everyone is on the same page lol
    Note: Turbos make torque and torque makes fun

      honestly, that never really came to mind but thinking about it now since you said it. i think your right. and yes, i am talking about the 25 cover. and it definitely is made of plastic but it can still be blasted with glass beads at a low pressure in case anyone else is far too lazy to hand sand.

        I blast plastic and aluminum with crushed walnut shell , its pretty good if your careful , then finish off the piece by blasting with some baking soda.

            got any pictures of the finished product? was thinking of just replacing the plastic cover with a aluminum piece, but now im kinda curious as to how this looks cleaned up and painted.
