yeah its only cause whenever we see them its done in a really ricey way. I have seen some BMWs and Fords factory fitted with a few led bulbs here or there, but they are more for 'mood lighting' than neon. IMO, the subtle lights here or there are nice, real attention grabbing stuff takes away from the appeal of the car, in this case, the skyline, and brings it on to the same level as the only cars I ever see with neon, dodge caravans and civics.
It's your car man! Do what makes you happy. If you're worried about what others think, make sure your mods are reversible, so if you ever sell the car you can remove the lights.
I find some can pull it off if its done in a more subtle way or if there being used to accent other nice parts /features already installed that maybe you would't notice at first glance, but if there just slapped on everywhere and anywhere to say you have lights then its ricey, kinda like chrome with ppl having every damn chrome accessory canadian tire makes lol
just my opinion tho...
on a gtr r32 do any of you think it to be appropriate?
IMO NOOOO!!! I say this because of the lineage of the GTR. For example would you put a bow and booties on a Pit-Bull?
I think if you're going to do up a Cadillac or a Mercedes show car and it's tastefully done then maybe. Honestly I really think its like most styles and neon is way out of style.
These days it's all about clean, subtle and tight, murdered cars for example.
Neon belongs in Vegas not on fast cars.
