Would anyone be able to give me a brief description on what to do for installing daytime running lights? I know I have to take apart the dash, but what wires do I tap into and where do I run the wires to? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!!!

Just get a daytime running light kit, it's the easiest way.RightDrive Inc. Parts Manager

Meh.....those kits are hit and miss, quality is of the "it will work just long enough to pass inspection" variety.
Lately I have been using a Hobbes switch on an oil pressure port (insanely easy if your car has an aftermarket oil cooler) and just running a hot wire off of the bat. with a fuse straight to the normally off Hobbes swt then paired off to each low beam. Simple, legal and leaves the lights off when the engine isnt running, great for trouble shooting electrical issues without killing the battery.

Guys stop making this so complicated. Did this today.
Take a wire, find a power source that turns on when ignition
Is on. Ex cigarette lighter fuse shove it in there.
Run that wire to headlights and splice it in. Voila daytime
Running lights. Remove after inspection.
