So I have an option to buy a fully built motor, 430 hp to the wheels and 1500km on the engine.

It is said there is 12 invested in it.

How would you go about this?
Any info at all would be helpful, as in how long it should last, at least the bottom end so it wont be another 8 g to fix it.

Depends on how it has been treated. If street use and hardy thrashed, (trackdays) 100,000km is possible between rebuilds. If been thrashed in race lap after lap, 3000-3500km is possible between rebuilds.

Probably the best way to check condition of engine is via a leak down test (if engine is out of car) before buying engine.
