  • Wind noise around mirrors

Frameless windows suck, I hated them on my subaru, but they were better than my 94 GTR. I get an insane amount of wind noise from the little triangle pieces where the mirrors bolt to, I can push on them from the inside and it cuts the wind noise almost completely. My old 32 gts never had this issue. Any ideas on fixing this?

Might be loose. Should be able to tighten them from inside, if remove trim on interior side.

If Skym's suggestion of tightening them doesn't work,..

Open the doors and look at the seals. I replaced both seals (2 each side) on my GTST, and the wind noise went away.
About to do the same thing on the GTR....same problem..

One seal goes all the way around the door (on the door itself)...and kind of up and around the mirror mounting.
The other one is the big fat rubber one that the window rolls up into, fits into the "track" on the door frame moulding.

      Hope this helps
