Cold starting

I have had cold starting issues, and i mean like around -2, itll take a few seconds till it turns over but then idles hella rough for maybe 10 seconds?

Fresh build too, forged internals, upgraded turbos

My battery is decently new too, but its after it starts, makes hard noises

What kinda oil you running? Been starting mine up no issues, stock internals, and running 10w30.

I am running 10W40 Royal purple lol

Would you think that's the cause for the car almost dying after it starts? Because i juuust put that oil in =p

Lol, ok you're probly good. Next step, I'd check the IAC and see if its gummed up. I had a cold start issue on my old gts4, my iac was bad. Maybe worth popping it off and cleaning it.

Oil is too thick with ??w (did you use run in oil???) due to new clearances, factory mention 5w30 on sticker (driver side of console), but with forged pistons it might be different (use oil recommended by engine rebuilder for clearances), ECU startup tables are out of tune (most likely the problem due to mods), intake airleak (loose intake hose clamps, crack in joiners), etc.

Whats the condition of your sparkplugs? Not fouled?

I will check the IAC,

and skym, i checked all the hoses, everything is nice and tight, not many upgrades to it,

as for sparkplugs, haven't been replaced i don't believe, thing is just before the rebuild i could start it in colder weather, like -15 and colder
