  • Mud flaps? LOL

I was thinking, always have loved the look on sti's

Maybe it would be completely retarted on a GT-R, however i thought it might be unique...

any input or places I could look for some that would fit?

If you're winter driving it, I think it's totally plausible. It saves the rockers and paint. I used to do it on my turbo sentra se-r. Looks goofy but your car will still look minty come spring.
I used to buy a generic set at crappy tire and trim to fit. The plastic/ rubber ones work best and are usually cheap.

There is a rally spec R32 with mudflaps -

Last week we debuted our new way to get you guys involved with Speedhunters. Not surprisingly the inbox has already filled up with an amazing selection of your cars and build projects from around the world. There's some brilliant machines to share, but I want to go ahead and start off with an R32 Skyline submitted by Shane from Tauranga, New Zealand. An R32 you ask? Haven't you already featured plenty of those? Indeed the Skyline is a popular car on Speedhunters, but I've yet to see one like this.

The colour of flaps vs colour of car, size, location of them is what makes them work or not. R32 GTS-T's have screw on mudflaps as stock equipment (too small to be of any use).

If you are winter driving your car.....hell yes....put on the biggest flaps you can find and have them set so that the just barely touch the ground. They will touch going over bumps and such but, who gives a turkey. In the front I suggest you use the plasticy ones that are ment for a truck that wrap up and around the wheel arch to protect the trailing edge of the front fender, they will get really beat up.

They will save a ton of crap getting into everything. In the spring, take them off, easy-peasy.

I really hate all the dirt and rocks my 285's pick up and throw along the bottom of my fender. I've been considering something like a splash guard but not as obvious.

Kinda like what this corvette has

Thanks for the input, I just thought it might look good too. Im tired of my inner fender being white from rocks on a black car too =p

I will check mr can tire for some!

Ill be sure to get some pics up if i do it!

That rally skyline looks pretty good.

Those look very stealth, and hey they do the job!

I guess trimming can tires ones very small would result with something like that!
