  • Question about pricing on 89 GTS-T

I was just wondering what the ballpark cost is now a days for a 89 GTS-T?

Reason why I'm asking is because thats what I'm looking to get into soon enough next year. (when the US government says I am able to without them taking it away...)

I know my way around the RB20 and RB25 motors and feel comfortable working on them so thats why I've decided on that route when it came to a R32. (I used to own a s14 with a RB25 swap) I've never delt with the 26 in the past so I wouldn't want to get in over my head.

From the research I've been doing it looks like $5-8000 is the going rate for an average condition 32, does that seem correct?

I'd like it closest to stock so thats why I figured my numbers were close enough.

The research will continue and I'll try to make my name more known around here and try to be helpful on here when I can.

    Thanks, Justin

Yea you can expect to pay 5-8k. Another thing to consider is that there will be a ton on auctions still, gtsts are dirt cheap nowadays. I've had friends pay less than 3k for cars, that's landed in Canada. R grade cars but some people don't mind.
    Victory is on the horizon..

I bought my HCR32 about two years ago from a private seller for $4000. The car was nicely modified and ran great. It probably had over $5000 in aftermarket goodies in it too.

Long story short, there are great deals to be had, just gotta look around.

Thanks for the advice guys, ill keep my eyes open for the right deal. I'm on the east coast prettymuch so I'd like to find something I would be able to drive to and check the car out in person. I'm not one who'd buy sight unseen. It'd be a fun weekend trip
