Help Need advice and tips on refinishing Nismo LMGT1 rims

I am going to get my Nismo LMGT1's refinished in a different color(currently white)
I love the white but no longer have a white GTR and don't really like it on a black GTR.
What color do you guys like/suggest if you had a black car?
Another question is the wheels are 18x9.5 et14 all around, can I somehow add a lip about a 1/2-1 inch lip wider?
If so where could I source the lips? Rays engineering?
Fenders are rolled.
Please help me with your knowledge and wisdom guys.

If you don't like the colour and want wider rims then sell what you have and buy a wider set , don't butcher a set of those classics .


I think gold/bronze rims look good on dark colours

I have a black gtr, had black wheels, I just picked up a set of bronze wedsports, I've never liked bronze/gold wheels. Thought about painting them before I even put em on. But as soon as I put them on, I loved it, not sure why but looks sick, but then again everybody has bronze wheels
I'm even kinda diggin the blue strip on there too, kinda sets off the black

I wanted bronze too, but do you think it could be pulled off on these particular wheels?
Last resort is silver ATM.
I've seen ones in Japan in black but not sure how it would look on the actual car.

I had those bronze Wedsports on my white Supra and loved the look.

i love the black and white look of your car. are you looking for a crazy color or no? yes it is possible to find bigger lips for your rims but since these are hard to come by it will be hard to find lips

you will be VERY hard pressed to find larger lips for such a rare rim. i agree with cortexx if you want a different color and a wider lip sell the rims and start fresh with what you want. and no rays will no be able to get you lips for youre nismo wheels

What color if you were to refinish them to Mint?
Might give these wheels a real chance to stay with car.
