  • Siphoning gas out of gtr...

alright well my gtr is awaiting an engine rebuild so its pretty much sitting there with a full tank of premium...my civic is low on gas...u get the picture. Has anyone been able to siphon gas out of their skyline? i tried with a hand pump siphon but it doesnt seem to even pick up any gas. its an r32. thanks

Never seen the inside of the tank but if you want to do it a different way you can drop the tank and pour it into a drum. I did that with the crap gas in my R, took about 40 mins and a friend to help lift.

If you remove the drivers side rear wheel and remove the plastic cover you will see the filler neck and can remove it from there, then you might be able to get the hose in. You can also try shoving a straightened coat hanger down the neck, I used to do that at Mercedes to pour in and siphon gas, basically just opened the doors to allow access to the tank

You could just take the pump service cap off in the trunk, full access to fuel from there with no fuss.

It's exactly the same as siphoning out of a mitsu, Subaru, ford, Chevy... No difference. You're not driving something totally different here, to japan it's like a mustang to us. Done it often, waste of time. Unless your fuel is 5-10 years old, why are you getting ride of it? I went 2 years on a tank and had no issues

He wants to put it in his HONDA! Lol, pop off the gas cap and stick a hose in there. Get a hand pump or suck it out and pay the price like corey and trever!
Dang! You got shocks, pegs... Lucky! You ever take it off any sweet jumps?

I've never tried this.. But it seems pretty easy..
Couldn't you just open the hood, take the line off the fuel rail, put it in a bucket, and turn the key to 'on'? Let the fuel pump do the work...

Can n e 1 confirm this would work?
                  Just a thought..

octane levels start to drop after 3 months so your premium will soon turn to regular. If u r goin to tune after your build it would be best to have fresh fuel in your car so mite as well use it in somthing else

It probably has one of those siphon preventers in the filler neck. Making it impossible to siphon gas
