  • R33 or R34?

I need an argument between these two lol

What do you prefer more and why?

I have a list in my head, but that's based on import JDM videos and magazines.

I've never had the chance to drive a GTR34 (yet), only a GTR33.

Why do you need an argument?
They are both good in their own ways.

Except the R34 is simply tougher/better looking IMHO.

The only differences I see is wheelbase, overall length is shorter on R34 GTR (to get similar turn in as found on R32 GTR), external looks. Otherwise the chassis look identical (R34 GTR looks like a repackaged R33 GTR).

R34 GTR should turn in slightly better due to smaller wheel base. Also R34 GTR has MFD in centre console area, improved intercooler (slightly bigger), bigger turbo's (similar in size to N1 turbo's), etc.

If you buy a R34 GTR, at least get a NUR or N1, as is a good base to work from (get more hp once the restrictions are removed due to N1 turbo's, have N1 head, N1 block, N1 cams, N1 pistons, etc as stock equipment).

R34 for looks/rarity. R33 for value for money. You could build a monster r33 gtr for less than the price of a stock/higher mileage r34. Hence why I own a monster r33

                    How so??? Can you elaborate???

From what I understand, longer wheelbase gives better stability when cornering and straight line stability (longer wheel bases are found on Nitro funny car dragcars, Nitro rails, etc), but bad turn in.

Also there were front upper arm, lower arm design changes between R32, R33 / R34 which might have played a role in the turn in difference, is that what you mean???

I have seen both R33 GTR, R34 GTR in real life side by side and the chassis look identical to me (same strut tower shape, bolt pattern direction on strut towers, etc), except for the obvious dimension changes, outer skin changes (cosmetic). I know parts like suspension swaps between R33, R34 chassis which confirms that they are using the same type of chassis. Also the width might have changed a bit as well on R34 GTR.
