  • Fuel pressure gauge

Hey everyone! I was wondering if I could get your opinions on installing a fuel pressure gauge as I want to make sure I'm doing it right. I have an electronic fuel pressure gauge and was going to install te sender in between the fuel filter and fuel rail as that's what people said when I researched it. I called a shop and they said it was fine to do this, I used a t fitting with barbed ends, just using rubber lines and p clamps. Now would this be safe under higher boost? I just want to make sure as I see myself running more power later on, right now I'm at 15 psi. The reason for this is I haven't bought an afpr yet. Which leads me to one other question, the fpr is leaking air does anyone believe it can be fixed with jb weld? Its leaking just around the circular part of the fpr!

    Thanks for your help!

That's where you test fuel pressure. Best to replace stock fuel hoses, as old, cracked stock fuel hoses can leak and cause engine bay fires.

Can upgrade to Tomei (rebuildable) or similar FPR from US with screw in gauge for higher hp applications, braided hose + fitting on stock fuel rail where stock FPR is located, etc.

Replace stock FPR, as they do fail due to age (most people upgrade to Tomei FPR, adjustable Nismo FPR, etc).
