I think it really depends on the condition of the car, could go either way.

I personally would choose the R34 love the styling and how involved it is to drive at the limit.

The R35 is a showcase of tech....however much less involved driving experience

      My 2 cents

50k is probably still a safe bet in the long run. maybe not if you're looking to flip it in a couple years.
        oh hai!

Very true... although at brand new I would choose the R35. I was looking at the post Car sale here, HAHAHA one in Vancover for 50k one in Montreal 30k. Rated 3.5-4 at auction which is not quite reliable in terms of engine condition, which I sure it has been driven hard. Wait and see I guess ...

its hard to flip car that you bought from someone who put there price first.. hmm 50k now maybe is good.. but car dont increase in value.. I guess the only thing that skyline has to up the value is rarity, in demands, and dependent on condition.

not sure if you have ever imported a jdm or gone through a broker to understand auction grades and condition but grade 4, even 3.5 does not directly mean bad engine. One auction can grade a car 3.5 while a different auction can grade the same car a 4. This is all dependent on amount of scratches/dents/mileage/repaint/drivetrain/rust etc. Grade 4 is very clean and 3.5 clean overall condition. Expect bad condition car/drivetrain on grade R, RA, and lower than 3...
As for price. The Montreal 30k GTR is a shady engine importer (have gone to montreal personally for the same seller selling GTR for a supposed 4.5 grade supra only to find out it was actually an R grade.) From what I know the two GTR's he has are R grade and he says they are 4.5...highly unlikely as a 4.5 grade GTR will fetch easy $27k car cost only. Aside from that I have asked him multiple times for the auction paper showing grade and he hasn't replied...The price on the Vancouver supra is more realistic as I personally know that kind of auction grade with said mileage will fetch minimum 30k car cost seeing also that it has a lot of goodies, including the fact that it is supposedly a NISMO r34 which asks a bit more premium...Like everyone mentions here only time will tell what they will fetch in person since they are only now starting to roll into the country.

Like others have mentioned, it really depends on the overall condition of the car. When I hear $50K for a V Spec BNR34, I don't think it's outside of the realm of possibilities.

Oh and good looking out skydlmt on that 34 in Montreal. I was curious as to why they haven't sold yet (because of the information that he had listed). I'm still a few years out, but it's good to know who to avoid.
