  • clutch diagnosis help

so i think my clutch is due. what it does:
1)engage very close to the floor (like 1 inch from the floor)
2)it feels like it doesn't disengage enough

so what do i have to replace? flywheel?push bearing, etc?

is there a way to know without removing the engine?

    its for a gtr r32 1990

any recommendtion on brand and stage? its a stock car with lil psi boost (13psi instead of 8)

    thank you

Was it the same as before u replaced the master ? Does the pedal feel like it has that half-way point ?

If YES and NO so most likely the pressure plate spring is weak and not releasing enough. You can go stock replacement with machined flywheel or lightweight flywheel with twin disc or something....all depend how much power you want to put down....any power upgrades in te future ??? I heard some stock-to-lightly modded GTRs running nismo copper mix single plate...it's totally about how much power u want it to handle and how street able you want it to be ...

yeah no big difference after i changed the master cylinder. i dont plan on upgrading engine. it has ~300 hp and is enough for me. laso, i dont want a hard clutch cuz i want to street drive it easily.
