  • What fuel pump model to choose??

I'm currently looking to replace my fuel pump (still oem) on my gts-t and I'm not sure which one I should buy.

I was thinking Aeromotive Stealth (340lph) but I don't want to get fuel boiling in the tank since it's a very high flow pump and my goals are only 300whp.

Actually I have some lean issues so I don't rev and boost too much (almost gets to 14 A/F ratio on full boost :S)

walbaro 255 should be enough or even stock gtr pump. Stealth is a bit overkill imo

Fit a fuel cooler inline to prevent overheating. Also the fuel pump needs to be hardwired to get the voltage (13.5+ volts) it needs to flow the rated lph.

Throw a stock GTR pump in there for only 300 wheel. If more then that best pump I ever had my hands on is a bosch 044.

Walbro will definitely get you to 300whp.

I've heard from a friend that tomei were walbro's (he bought one from rhdjapan, a brand new tomei kit, but on the pump, the big W from the walbro logo was stamped -__-)

Might go with a walbro as well, they're not expansive and seems to be good!

Any idea what adapter I should use on the oem fuel rail to fit a tomei regulator??

My tuner recomended against the Walbro pumps because they are very inconsistant and has seen reliability issues
(Sincere apologies Jon for cutting your grass).
He suggested staying with the factory GTR pump. I haven't rewired the pump and making 427 whp.
                        Just my .2 worth.

You know the only inconsistancy i had with changing my pump was not the pump but my sending unit and a bad wire to the ecu..OEM GTR is a great option too..i went with walbro for the price, because i had more stuff to fix after that

I would prefer oem as well, but a brand new walbro seems more reliable to me than a 25 year old Gtr pump :s

Between, my car is a Gts-t with the big 135lph oem pump)

Most likely any issues with the Walbro stems from the knockoffs that were flooding the market a few years back on Ebay. I put a Walbro in my daily driver car almost 10 years ago because the stocker was double the money and it is still going to this day...3 owners later. They are also very voltage dependant so if you dont have them hotwired to the battery then you can get some issues there too.
