  • HKS Speed Limit Defencer ( What does it do exactly ?) link attached

I am looking to find a way of removing the limiter on my car GTT in a proper way, not cutting wires of some sort. Anyway what does this device do exactly? from my understanding, this device does let the car cut the fuel once you reach the limit. Any thoughts?

Sau had a lot of info on their fourms. One wire on the ecu to a $2 switch...... There's your limiter gone. Nothing wrong with that if you do it neatly, Or hks $200......... Lol pretty sure they just switch to ground when the signal +12v comes from the speedo when the 180 km is reached. It's just a fancy logic circuit with a hks sticker.

    Hope that helps
Come on lotto!!! Daddy needs a whole lotta stuff!

I read about it too, but I am a little skeptical about it thats just me... well I am no expert to begin with. I want to keep all instruments functional and at the end change the speedo meter with 320 km reading ... Ill dig up more info about it, thanks for your input

Great little device if you wish to keep normal CPU in the car (with out tune). Otherwise just get ROM tune CPU or step into power fc etc etc.
