My dad taught me how to wash and wax cars before there were cd players nor "auto detailers". Then I started reading books (you know, those printed matters on paper?) about "auto cosmetics" and auto restorations. To this day I still "wash and wax" my cars and if there is one good advice that I can give you is when it come to finishing you need to feel the finishing with your hands. My second advice is to have patience, take your time and don't over do it.

PS: Give the electric buffer to a friend, nothing build muscles better than a good polish.
