I was working the gate at Shannonville for the week-end when an older dude comes driving up in what seemed like a fairly clean GTI. All was well until I noticed the GTR badge on his front fender. I asked him where he got the badge, to which his reply was that it was a special edition limited production VW. I asked him if he knew what kind of car was parked by the gate (pointing at my car) and his jaw bounced off his steering wheel. Is that a real Skyline? Why yes it is, a GTR in fact... He then goes on to tell me how he bought the badges off eBay. Why do people put emblems on there car from COMPLETELY different manufacturers?

I've seen a riced out civic rocking a GT-R badge in place of the Honda 'H' on his front hood. Also put it in place of the Si badge in the back. I'm currently model type badge less on the rear, should I rock a Skyline SiR? *cringe*

got pulled over last night for speeding, didn't get a ticket. The cop did come to the right window and afterlooking over my papers asked where i got it from, I said i bought it in Toronto but obviously was imported from japan. He then informed me that he was well aware that it was not made in NA and that they use these for ALL the police cars over there. ha not that great but still.

About two months ago I went for a late night cruise in regina. I'm stopped at a red light and a Deisel cummins rolls up with dual stacks. I ignore the honking and pointing and when the light turns green he peals out. I keep my usual pace. The next red light I desided to play a little game with him. I look over and nod, so he gets excited and starts break tourqing. It rained about an hour before. So he slides straight into the intersection and gets clipped by a civic. Of course the civic is totalled but i still thought it was pretty funny.

Why does everyone insist on showing off?

I'm at a red light, an old beat up VW Passat pulls up beside me. (rocking Tom Cochrane Life is a Highway loud). Car could barely sit at idle without stalling.

- Green turn signal flashes (not our signal)
- Passat lurches forward then brakes hard.
- Few seconds later our green goes....
- Passat goes chirp chirp chirp vrooom.
- I pull ahead slowly, giving the VW owner a thumbs up mockingly.
- *cue cop sirens* (there was a bike cop 2 cars behind us, neither of us saw him)
- Cop gets up behind the VW at the next light, waits for him to (slowly now) pull through the intersection and pulls him over.

I was laughing my ass off as I pulled away.

This is not skyline related

But we were driving my dads ferrari in Taber, population 8000 people. and we are at this T-intersection. and this 4 kids in this Chevy Lumina take an extremely short turn and get right close to us and nice, "nice car".

they had to be at least a foot from the car and my dad was like, "oooh, thanks"


then we were getting gas and these young kids, like 11-12 come up to the car and don't ask or anything and they lean on the car when they look inside. and my dad was like "excuse me, what are you doing". Then after he was thinking. This car is worth more than your life hahaha


That was just my "people acting like idiots and people being disrespectful " story

lol i hear you i dont have no ferrari but i get kinda angry when 10-15 people lean on my cars, atleast if your going to lean on it make sure you dont have metal on your pants and dont touch!

thats what sucks about going to car meets that arent very "JDM" if you know what i mean :P

I had a couple guys walk up to me yesterday and insisted on paying me $5 to check out my car. I told them they didn't have to pay ect.. but they just laid down the change on my driveway as they left hahaha.
