Was'nt there already a thread like this a while back? I could have sworn there was but, eh, oh well.

    - free oil change coupon from McDonald's
    - a Japanese lighter (made in Taiwan :P )
    - Japanese parking reciepts
    - extra horn button
    - couple of Japanese coin's (don't know what they are)

I think that was about it.

lol, found one of those in one of my cars as well.
Many items found in the cars but only item I kept is a good luck charm (so I was told). Metal of some sort with a paper card in the back with writing on it.
Was told that it protects the driver against accidents.
Hard to see in the picture but there is 2 "dove heads" in the center circle.
Anyone know what this item is called?

Its called a "omamori", and its a protective charm against accidents. You buy it from a shrine every new year and once the year is over you are supposed to bring it back to the shrine where they will destory the old one (and make you buy a new one). If yours is expired you will obviously DIAF!

                            Hmmmm, well that depends.

If the chop stick was made from actual Japanese wood or Japanese manufactured plastic and the tissues were made from pure Japanese paper....then yes there JDM!

If both the chop stick and tissues are made in Taiwan...then there not JDM!

Props to the drivers license! I wish I found something like that in my car.

                              I found:

These odd spacers...metal...sort of looks like swiss cheese.
                              JDM Road flare.
2x Cosmo "See you again" Oil card
                              1x JDM Lighter
Yen in the form of a coin.
                              Unused spare tire.

I still haven't REALLY looked. I'll probably gut it on my next day off. I have no life anymore so why not.

Looks like a card reader of some sort, has a volume button.
also it is attached to a speaker box mounted on windshield beside rear view mirror.

If i press the Volume button a lady says something in japanese, she also
says something to me everytime i start it up ??????

                                Have no idea
That is an ETC unit. ETC is an electronic means of collecting tolls on the highway so you don't have to stop at the toll booths. You can swap out cards for each person, and the lady says something like if you pass through the toll booths, or if you start the car up. You can rip that out if you want, unless you plan on driving the car in Japan!
Thats an awesome idea. Wish we had something like that over here. Not that we really have many toll booths but cool non the less.
