    Exhaust noise complaints.

    I have the Tomei Titanium exhaust on my 1995 R33 GTR
    I'm getting complaints from my neighbors about my exhaust noise level (in Vancouver).
    I did install the restrictor but it made it sound like a frightened kitten,,, and I fear what damage it could do to the engine...

    Was thinking about installing an Apexi control valve to minimize exhaust noise level on demand..

    Has anyone had any experience with this, or solved it by another means ???

    The Tomei Ti exhaust is pretty loud. The silencer helps a lot but does significantly restrict performance. I've almost blown it out a couple of times.
    I'm surprised your neighbors have complained about the noise when using it.
    In any case I've known a couple of people who've used that system and/or one like it with good results. Just be sure it's open before you hammer on your car.
