  • This HID kit worth the $100?

just curious, cuz a normal bulb is $6.19 with $40 shipping x2 = $92+ or this HID kit is around $100 with shipping.

i got 4300 since thats what OEM uses. the higher you go, the more blueish it will get. the lower you go the more yellow you get. 4300 or 6000 is what i would recommend. puts out the most light, and is the whitest

just so you know, most ebay kits are probably made by the same supplier. even the kit JZgarage sells here are probably made by the same supplier. i find it hard to believe that out of all the HID kits i have seen, every single one used the exact same connector for the bulbs, and the ballast/igniter.

actually for a good visibility the lower the better, our eyes respond better to yellow then blue... anyways anywhere between 4300-6000K will be good. afterward it's too blue/purple

so no to the 15000K? lol

Just placed an order for the H3C kit @ 6000K. $84.51 after shipping (CAD) via DHL. We'll see how long till it gets here and what I get dinged with on top of that. Thanks a bunch for the link, like I said I was going to buy a couple of OEM replacement bulbs but the price... yikes.

The skyline is an h3c kit (add $15) and 9007 for the Neon... but if it's a high/low in one unit then get the more expensive kit that vvme sells so you don't lose high beams

pretty sure the neon needs the bi-xenon kit

There so cheap I would go for the most expensive automatically
So for neon I will get bi-xenon. I guess that for Skyline I can only get single beam as H3C isn't available for bi-xenon.

                          PS thanks for the info

lol, a bi-xenon would be useless in a skyline. All said and done, my kit (h3c) was $84.51 shipped (CAD) and then another 11.66 when DHL arrive at my door 2 business days later (ordered thurs, showed up monday). I just installed them here at work and I'm DYING for it to get dark so I can see how good they are.
