I ran a set of the carbon ceramic AMS pads on the track - for about an hour - and they're now part of the ozone layer, or where ever pad material goes when it vaporizes.

The course was hard on brakes, but these were not up to the task. To be fair, they felt great on the street and during bedding in before hitting the track.

Sounds like you need some race compounds there Dan. Im quite impressed with my hawk blues, great pads and they outlasted my rotors. Pads are about 50% worn but the rotors have the slots worn clean off. My only complaint is im going through a set of rotors every season. I think my next will be some Ferodo's in the DS1.11 compound. $450/axle set is steep though.

          True!

This was a last minute 'I'm on the track tomorrow and need pads' thing. EBC Redstuff is my usual.
