R32 GT-R seat adjuster not working

Hi all,

I recently bought a GT-R seat and the backrest adjuster was working fine (put the seat on the floor, sat in it and spun the adjuster freely). 2 weeks later I go back and now the adjuster doesnt work anymore. It feels like its stuck and the seat is waaay back.

The lever to tilt it forward works really and does its job but no matter what I do the adjuster wont roll.

What is the best way to deal with this and fix the issue?

Can I just fix that from underneath or do I need to remove the whole thing?

That's a R33 GTR late model seat btw. It worth some good coin!

Try to adjust the latch n fold the seat forward abit and use the knob to fine-tune it.

Yeah I found out it is an R33 seat after I posted. It actually was in the trunk of a Pulsar GTIR I've bought in december for dirt cheap (750$! :|), and I wanted to install it as the seat that was there is a total mess.

Well it is now fitted in the Pulsar but I still can't adjust the backrest. The seat moves nicely on the front/back rails, folds well too, but I still cant adjust the backrest angle. The control seems really stuck.

Maybe a few hammer hits will fix the issue? I'm a bit pissed hehe
