hey guys I got gtr r32 I owned the car for just over a year. When I first bought the car it start up nice with 2 cranks. but now I have to crank for like 3-4 times in the morning. the other problem is when it starts up cold it runs really rough and most of the time it just turns right off. sometimes when I turn it on it seems like it's good I try to rev the engine up to like 2k rpm and then when I let go of the gas the rpm drops down and car turns off. this only happens when I leave the car over night or a long time. the car runs fine when the engine heats up a little. any ideas?

Have you checked for codes yet? Is your car running with a stock ecu? Asking questions like that you need to tell us whats done to the car to try to eliminate some of the countless variables.
I've said this a million times.... If you can't isolate a problem(s) and in your case it could be one or several things. Take a drive down to your local Nissan dealer, have them hook up CONSULT and it will tell you what all of your sensors are doing. They should give you a printout of all the values. You can then refer to your service manual (you have downloaded one right???) and see which sensors are out of spec.
Then you start spending money to fix your problem.
Good luck!

i have a apexi ecu, nismo fuel pump, hks fuel rail, hks fuel injectors, methonal injection system, hks piping with hks intercooler, tomei turbos, aluminum radiator. thats pretty much the major stuff. i took it to a nissan and said they dont do any work on these cars. i kind wanted to find the problem myself, but i guess i just take to racing greed they know their stuff.

Yea if your car is that modified the dealer wouldn't stand a chance.
You'll have to go through your Apexi menus, monitor the values on that to see if you have O2 issues, MAF issues ect.
I know what you mean by solving problems yourself. It costs WAY to much to have someone else solve them for ya!
Good luck!

they are getting old so they need good tune up/maintenance, by the sounds of it you might want to check on air leak on ITB gaskets, they are very common problems, isnt your idle higher than before?
i would check on fuel filter, injectors, pump to start with.
good luck !
