  • best way to get rid of the oem EGT sensor?

so i just swaped my cat for a resonated decat pipe, and i was told i ddin't really need to get a bung for the stock EGT sensor and just scrap the sensor?

but i've also heard if you just cut the sensor, it will still pick up some a signal or whatever

so whats the best way to get rid of it without any bad consequences?

i dont like cutting stuff so i
put it between the body and the exhaust heat shield near that area
    it will stay there

Mine's duct taped to the bottom of the car and sort of jammed in between some trim stuff there. I think I also tied it into a little ball if I remember correctly. I wouldn't cut stuff.

i cut mine off on the gtst and the cat light never came on...if you do cut it off and the light is on you just have to ground it out i believe
