Thought I should share this.
I've seen intermittent problems with headlights on 3 different r32 Skylines. Sometimes lights don't come on, sometimes only one comes on.
I found a thread on a British forum that described taking the headlight switch apart and cleaning the contacts.
I just cured my GTS-t of having no headlights by doing that.
The switch comes out of the bezel with 3 little screws, You can carefully pry it apart and see the 3 spring loaded bits and the metal rockers that make contact.
Carefully remove the rockers and clean all contact points with fine very sandpaper. They build up a hard coating that resists electrical contact.
Just be careful taking it apart and putting it back together. I gently pried the side holders over a bit to release the rocker piece and then pried it back afterwords without any problem. Also cleaned under the bottom where it rides on the saddle.
Its actually an easy fix to a very annoying problem.
