yea mine looked the same ran hot soapy water threw it a bunch of times followed with a rinse sure there is a much better method out there and im all ears too
yup thats what I used and it cleaned it out great. Is it possible to feel more response after cleaning the intercooler? It felt like it did when I put it back on the car. Maybe its just a mental thing :P

Take it out, use any kind of degreaser and don't be chinsy, i find if you use a scotchpad and scuff everything first before you apply it bites into it really well. then pressure wash it really good.

3 cans of brake clean + 2 looinies for powerwashing the crap out of it + hang it over a wood stove = pure win and great satisfaction.....make sure to polish to while its nice and easy to get at!
