  • Rear Seat Removal made easy

The first time I attempted to remove the rear seat it ended up in the seat winning. I then went to the forums to find an easier way to remove the back seat... I couldn't find a simple answer so this is what I have found..... hope this helps someone same time and effort..

I ended up making a simple tool from a roller brush handle. I shorted the end and put a one inch bend at the end. All you have to do is find the center of the hook on the seat by lifting up on the rear seat. Then insert the new tools end into the loop, push both the seat and the little hook on the tool downwards, this unclips the plastic hook, then pull up on both the seat and the tool, the rear seat should unclip

Ten minutes to make the tool, and less than 5 seconds to unclip each side of the seat.

these seat clips are like girls. Once you break it in, it's always looser than it was before.

is this to remove the top or the bottom of the seats?
I've been brushing my teeth with jack but it's resulted in terrible amounts of tooth decay.

Nice! Can also use a pry bar/crow bar and your knee to weight it - pops out like a charm! Just be careful not to bend the seat "framing", its weak steal mesh doesn't take well to brute force lol

Watch out though if using your hands things can get caught, I almost tore my fingernail off when it caught something, I dont even know what it was. But my nail flipped over in the middle worst thing to do to yourself. Had to flip the nail back down. Worst thing ever
