    Tushay, in most cases anyways.

btw, I found this quote from Rob.

"Just for reference, we run alot more than 1000whp with normal type 11mm arp head studs and we've never had a gasket, block or head problem.

Correct install, torque settings and tune are critical and you definately don't "have to have" 12mm studs or L19 studs if everything is correct.

If they use regular ARP studs on their engines, im sure they are fine. Thus not needing to spend crazy money on a stud.

Well I contacted jun and they are using the same material as arp's. I guess I will just have to wait and see if I blow a gasket. When/if I do I'm going to get custom l19 studs with m11 on the bottom and rb26 dimensions on the top.

L19 is a not the be all end all material. It has it's issues when used in a street engine.

My car isn't a drag car. If I can run a 10 on street tires I will be happy.

Oh? If you're not making big power (the kind that can lift a head with ARP studs), why would you want such beastly parts? You should be able to run 10s on street tires with 600whp

Oh, I will be making big power. Street tires just might not want to hook up, especially with my alignment settings.
