A small shootout for those who care to know. All parts are genuine and bought as new from respectable suppliers. This is not to flame anything but to inform others about the 2 product. I'm still certain about which I'll use. The koyo was bought over a year ago and took 7 months to ship so I can't send it back to a non existant company. They're both close in pric0e which is at the lower end of the performance market compared to ARC and the big boys however I'm ready to try it out in my mildly tuned car ;
Sizing.
Both the koyo aluminum and Forged Racing Radiators have a 2" core.
End tanks are nearly identical in shape/welds.
Height and length are identical.
The Koyo rad however is 2/3 of the Forged racing weight (most likely since the forged has more bars).
Fin and bars.
The Koyo radiator has the SAME size and style of bars as the Forged racing however the Forged Radiator has 33% more bars (1 bar every 7.5mm where the Koyo has a bar every 10mm)
The Radiators both mount the same and have the same style of fittings all around.
The Forged Radiator comes with a Rad cap unlike the koyo.
FAN SHROUDS!
Mishimoto and forged have similar designs for materials but their only 2 differences are that the Mishi fans are 10" blade type, where the Forged are 11" with a few more blades which are all attached at the ends like a frizbee I guess. No idea which flows better.
In the end, all 4 of these products appear to be the same quality with different pros and cons.
