    ^this guy is 100% correct. But i didnt drill mine out. Should have done so though.. You can get a think metal drill bit for under 10 bucks.

      you can buy an AMS lockout for like $350 bucks and they are pretty beefy. It sounds like a do-able idea in theory mocking up your tie rods for bushings, but at the very least i would make a new tie-rod end that has a fork on the end like the kits have. All i can say is if it fails you might be in for more repairs than you bargained for.

        agreed...the AMS lockout kit would be the best way to go i have it waiting to be installed and it seems to be a great kit
