  • wheel offset issue

i have a gts4 and im gonna get new rims 17" x9 but i need to choose an offset that fits best i can do 17 or 27 offset i do not want to widen fenders help plz witch will fit better ?

if u want it really flushed 0 offset would be best.....but +17 is good enough and the rim lip will just be right before the wheel opening front n back

dont get the 27 offset its a waste

?? Stock GTR Rims are 16x8 +35 and they're FLUSH on GTS fenders.. I even had to roll my fenders for them to fit with -1.3 degrees camber.. 0 offset ?! That's insanity? Even +17 is not gonna fit..

Tyler's GTR is running 18x10 +22 XD9's and they JUST fill the GTR fenders with a roll.. They'd never fit my car without a serious pull, or even over fenders.

^^ This. Base yourself on the OEM offset and set your desired gap from there. You're the only one that knows what you want, and how high you want it. If you base yourself on what Marc said, x9 +17 would definitely make the outer rim plane intersect with the inner fender. You'd need to fit a narrow tire and/or keep the car high to make it work without a pull.

I bought myself a x9 +27 with a 255 tire and I think it will compliment my GTR fenders, which are a lot wider, nicely. It's all about your needs and tastes.

i have 17x 9.5 +25 nismo rims and they fit nice. if youre not into pulling your fenders to make your wheels fit then i would go with the +27.

on my gtst sedan i got 17X9 +25 and its pretty flush. i had to fold the inner fender lip in for sure. but now i have 8mm spacers on all corners. the back just pokes out a tad n the front flush. but for sure go with 27 offset if you dont want to pull fenders. and depends how low you go. i am half way down the tire and i have 205/50. so their decently streached thats for sure.

                      Correct you are! My bad.

Also wanted to point out tire profile will certainly dictate fitment. Mine are stock sizes, so bulky as fack.

I just got my rims installed on my gts

                        up front are: 17x8 + 35 with a 235 tire
                        In the back: 17x9 +38 with a 235 tire

All have a 5 mil spacer...and they sit so flush it's not even funny! If i don't roll the front fenders i'll have to take out the spacer up front because they sit that perfectly with the fender and are rubbing so much

Should take out spacer up front, and go wider in the back, 255.

When i buy new tires yes, going to need new rears soon and the worn out 255's on the rears when i got them looked huge. i think 245 would be a perfect medium!

Not the best picture but you get the idea
17X9 et17 with 255/40/17 on a GTR. They'd rub on the back if I wasn't running so much negative camber I think.
