  • Please help me name that exhaust!

    Hey Guys,

I got an unnecessary noise ticket recently so I'm trying to find out a little more about my exhaust but I couldn't find any markings.

I have a couple pix's up, any help would be greatly appreciated.

geez, no labels or tags or engravings on it?

that could be anything lol, it looks like a veilside piece to me tho, or Blitz,... both veilside and blitz use curved rounded muffler bodies like that

I know, right now Im running a mystery exhaust with a mystery unnecessary noise ticket lol. I would have expected markings from anything name brand. I'm going to take a few more angles tonight after work.

It's a no name brand available at Maxis and Loblaws.

Do you actually have a muffler? Or just the end piece which is the secondary resonator/muffler...can't really see in the pictures. Generally you should have cat > muffler/resonator > end piece muffler/resonator.

I definitely don't see a muffler there lol. Hmm... This is a strange one. Not often you see an exhaust with ZERO markings... I'm curious on this one!

I cant see the pics ATM (work blocks flickr) but I am going to suggest a shot in the dark. See if a plate on is installed on the top side of the exhaust (by feeling along by hand). I have a plate on the bottom of my HKS exhaust but that is the only marking I can see on it, if someone installed it with the plate facing up then the label would not be visible. Not ideal but maybe worth a shot.

Its not unusual to have no markings. The exhaust that I have sitting in my garage has absolutely no markings on it, its an N1. I've been told its an apex'I unit.

So I felt around - couldn't feel anything. I updated the link with more pix.

Any idea what might have been here?

I'm almost 100% sure that's an Apexi GT exhaust

                        Hope I could help!

Looks like Apexi...but not N1 because the N1 has a flat brim it doesn't angle.

Next time I have her up, I can see if I can get in there a little better.

                              Thanks for all the ideas.
