just wondering if anyone else has had this problem

so i have noticed that when car gets down to half a tank of gas when i swing the car around or do donuts after going so far around the car will stall and doesnt want to start again for a minute or 2 but then sxtarts up and works perfect again....last night i went out to try it jsut to see and i noticed if i start from a dead stop to do a donut that i did over rev it in first gear and at 7500 rpm the car shut off...and it seems like everytime i have done this it has bin at a quarter tank of gas when i first started playing with this i had half a tank of gas and no problem.....car is a 91 gts-t with rb20det

    any help is greatly apreciated

As long as he's doing it legally (skid pad).

Probably fuel starvation and is common on hard driven cars with low fueltank where fuel moves to one side of fueltank and fuelpump gets starved of fuel. A collector tank / surge tank in trunk fixes that problem or keep fuel tank full.

Also note you will get a fuel smell in car unless you run a teflon lined braided hose to and from collector tank.

Sard sell a bolt in collector tank, where the fuelpump that draws fuel from collector tank and sends to engine is mounted inside collector tank (quieter) than using external fuelpump (louder) -

Example of a external fuelpump sound on a R33 GTR -

Big Bird R33 GT-R off the Apex Power FC Pro two step. http://www.gtrusablog.com

Alot cleaner to run fuelpump inside collector tank and fuelpump shoud run cooler inside a collector tank. Also takes up less room inside trunk.

One of the sponsors should be able to sell you a collector tank to suit your application -

Happened to me at iCar on my first drift night. I kept spinning on one corner and sometimes it would take a while for the car to start. The options the other guys mentioned seem to do the trick. I would jsut make sure you go to the track with a full tank of gas, thats all.
