  • R34 engine in a R32

Ok, i have searched for days on end....

I have a R34 rb26 engine that i will be swapping into my R32 gtr using its harness and ECU. now i know its been done many times but i can't seem to find the correct answer to my question

-I'll be using the r34 CAS so the 1* and 120* signals have to be switched at the sensor. What wires are these exactly? the internet is filled with all different info pretty misleading.

    - also what have people been doing with their power steering pumps, (my HICAS is 100% removed but both lines remain on my r32 pump) do you recommend i keep my r32 pump?

    Thank you,
    -Chris

PS: The R32's engine still works flawlessly, so ill leave this swap till after summer.

I did it on my car pretty much everything bolts on (sensors, and accessories) So I am pretty sure you can just use the R34 PS pump instead of R32 ones. Personally I kept my stock ones because I didnt have R33 or R34 ones lying around. You need to re-use your R32 front diff because the final drive ratio is different unless you are doing the R34 rear diff at the same time. I did not end up using the R34 Exhaust cam so I cannot answer your question on the R34 CAS.
