hey so my brother knocked his r31 rb20de bad year later we put all back togethd his camms are sooo rusty and screwed so we lined em up take a look at it and figure wtf put some r32 rb20det cams in there and now shes low on power by like at least 60-70 percent and farting and such soo are they big time different and if soo i need a couple of em pwease and thanks guys oh and sorry for me broken typeing engrish

Maybe you should look into other problems like the valvetrain?

It sounds as if the timing is way off. I suggest you guys stop running the car and do a manual timing reset on that motor before you cause trouble.

Did you guys drive the car like this? If so there very well could be some failure in that head, perhaps leading into the cylinders.

And many wont advise it, but if its just surface rust, then have the lobes and bearing journals polished back up.

Just fitted Toda 264 cams to the SR and was 1 tooth out both ways. Car idled but sluggish. Manual reset took car of everything and now she screams.

reset timing done that, i had my rb20det out 2 teeth on both cams and ya it makes biggg difference the only thing we changed was the bottom end and the cams. and no driving was done the roach coach cant move itself at all really i say he stops pissin around with the NA crap! and 2JZ it but he doesnt have that much money right now... any ways info is appreciated thanks guys!

NA is cool if you do it right.

Anyhow, if all is lined up then there is some sensor out of whack.

oh ya NA is cool def not my style thanks again guys!! i think we tried changing CAS and that made it a bit better must be MAF or something what shares the r31 MAF? if anything
