  • Brake change

I recently done a brake change (rotor, pad) on my r32. It was my first time doing it but I did read on forum about it. Everything was replaced and I did only put grease over rubber seal like instructed on the pad box but not on the pin. I did a road test to break the pad like instructed but still, it doesnt break hard at all even after doing a bleeding. What did I do wrong

Maybe try to bleed them better, car running and peddle pump or running with mighty vac
Is this on an r33? They're heavy..
      No build thread.

Is the pedal firm or mushy?

Pad are hawk and rotor brembo on a r32. I did bleed all the caliper from rear passager to front driver but the pedal does not seem firm like my old set-up. If i floor the brake pedal wheel wont lock at all. A friend told me I could be braking only on one pad in each caliper since I didnt grease every part . I will try rebleeding them while car is running since I only did it with power on last time.

only things u need to grease are the pins and brake pads shoulders...u still have air in the lines

that what I was thinking also since both side of the disk have mark on them. I will grease the pin as you mentionned and bleed the line while car is running.

What tool did u use to push the caliper pistons back into the caliper with?
It is possible u fubared the bore in the caliper, causing the pistons to not travel well. But, in hindsite, that would not cause a mushy pedal.

i used the comon plier like I saw in tutorial. I did my friend brake also and everything was fine. Like it was said, I probably still have air in the line
