Code 54 how to fix??

just did a quick search. the part number 23710-04U60 is for a rb20det out of a gts-4
and it says it a manual transmission

edit: the ecu i should have is 2371M-04U02

ive only had the car a year now and i was told its just a stock ecu with nistune chip.
there was a z-tune businesses card taped to the ecu so it looked legit.
plus the car was running fine on it before. does resetting a ecu with nistune to check the codes screw it over?

There you go... doesnt matter whats written on the outside its whats on the chip. It will be an auto base code. If you get a consult cable you can see what the ECU IDs itself as if you are bothered.

failing that i'd post on the nistune forum, but i think they will tell you the same....

i know of a guy in town with a r32 rb20 so ill try track him down and see if he will let me use his ecu just to see

hes willing to help me out but he cant untill tomorrow morning. man im impatient.. lol the whole thing is on stand-by untill tomorrow
