  • What did I **** up now...

So I was adjusting my steering wheel and I go for a drive, step on the gas pedal and now my steering wheel is crooked when the wheels are pointing straight.

What were you adjusting on your steering wheel? Is it an aftermarket with an adapter hub or is it the factory steering wheel on the column splines?

I had the same issue last month.

It turned out to be my Hicas had a mind of it's own. I went to RightDrive and got a Hicas Lock Kit along with an alignment and I have never had the issue since.

If you replaced your old steering wheel with another one the new wheel must have the same HICAS hub pattern otherwise you'll have this problem.

Did you REMOVE the steering wheel? Adjusting the tilt and telescoping will not cause this.

Think I figured it out. When I reset my ECU today, my steering wheel was crooked, so my Hicas computer thinks my wheel is turned when I drive. Makes sense
