By the way, GTR-Dad, love your build! i took a peak at it when i dropped my engine off with Cam last month. Jealous of your oil setup! other than that and your meth kit, it looks like we are running fairly similar set ups. Goodluck with yours.
Thx! We should catch up next summer!

        Check out straightpipe.ca.
There are a good bunch of guys who get out to Stratotech about 8-10 times over the summer for lapping evenings. I think there will be link to a local autocross club that does a driving school early in the season.

Getting back to the fuel thing, I have noticed that the Chevron pumps in the lower mainland make quite the stink about the 94 having NO ethanol in it and all the other grades having a min. of 5% (or max of 10%, can't remember). Our pumps up here don't mention anything like that. I will admit though, Chevron has upped their game and are actually selling a 94 that is equal to or a touch better than Mohawk 92. Last summer they weren't even close, Moh92 blew Chev94 out of the water.

Maybe my (and, hopefully, others) bitching about how bad it was in our area made a difference. I guess corperate types actually read some of those e-mails. I think too that they wanted to have the dust settle from all the changes on Jan.2011 before they finalized their top dog fuel (Chevron).

Just think of the power you would be making on my witches brew of 60% Chev94, 20% Tolulene and 20% Methanol. And yes, I have to fattened up the whole fuel map to compensate, and yes, she puts out like a drunken prom date.
